s
CAMBRIA
UPDATED WELL SURVEY
Cambria originally submitted a well survey in our July 20, 2000 Site Investigation Report Based
on a review of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) records, we identified one
domestic well located approximately 1,900 feet northwest of the site and one municipal well
located approximately 2000 feet north of the site
i
Recently, Cambria contacted both well operators and attempted to locate both wells in the field
A telephone conversation with the local water utility company indicated that the reported
municipal well is no longer in use (the company had no knowledge of a municipal well in this
area) Cambria field staff could not locate this well in the field, suggesting that it has probably
been destroyed
Cambria was able to locate the reported domestic well It is actually located 2,595 feet northwest
of the site, farther than initially reported Also the well owner stated that the well is used for
industrial purposes, not domestic as indicated on the DWR well log
Table 1 summarizes the updated well data, and Figure 1 shows the corrected well locations
These results indicate that there are no water-producing wells located within 2,000 feet of the
subject site
HISTORICAL REMEDIATION SUMMARY
A soil vapor extraction (SVE) system operated at this site from September 1992 to
November 1996 During this time, the SVE system removed approximately 17,628 pounds of
vapor phase total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline from the subsurface
0778 2
