I <br /> EmconI ASSOCIATES June 10, 1992 <br /> Consultants in waste Project G67-72 01 <br /> management aria <br /> En+nromentai Cantron <br /> I <br /> Mr Jerry Wilski <br /> Aegis Environmental, Inc <br /> 1050 Melody Lane, Suite 160 <br /> Roseville, California 95678 <br /> Re Second Quarter 1992 Ground-water Monitoring Report, <br /> Shell - 620 West Charter Way, Stockton, WICn204-4878-0302 <br /> Dear Mr Poulsen <br /> This letter report presents the results of the second quarter 1992 ground-water <br /> monitoring event for the Shell Oil Company (Shell) service station at 620 West <br /> Charter Way, Stockton, California Monitoring at this site is being conducted on <br /> a quarterly basis <br /> GROUND-WATER LEVEL SURVEY <br /> On April 30, 1992 static water levels were measured in all site wells before <br /> purging and sampling Water levels were measured to 0 01 foot from the top of <br /> the well casing using an oil/water interface probe Water-level measurements, <br /> ground-water elevations and monitoring well field measurement data are <br /> presented in Table 1 <br /> ISAMPLING AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground-watar samples were collected on April 30, 1992 from monitoring wells <br /> MW-1 , MW-3, MW-5, MW-6, MW-8, MW-9 and MW-10 Monitonng wells MW-2, <br /> MW-4 and MW-7-contained floating product and therefore, were not sampled for <br /> dissolved constituents A site map, including the monitoring well locations is <br /> attached, as provided by Delta Environmental Ground-water monitoring wells <br /> Iwere purged before sampling using a polyvinyl chloride bailer, a low-flow <br /> submersible pump, or a Teflon® bailer Samples were collected using a Teflon <br /> I bailer The procedures used to purge and sample ground-water monitoring <br /> wells were detailed in our November 14, 1991 Proposal to Conduct Ground- <br /> water Monitoring for Shell OII Company, and are included for your information <br /> Wells MW-1 , MW-3, MW-6, MW-8 and MW-9 were evacuated to dryness after <br /> the removal of fewer than three casing volumes These wells were allowed to <br /> recharge for up to 24 hours Samples were collected as soon as the well had <br /> Irecharged to a level sufficient for sample collection <br /> I1433 N Market 6ouievard Sacramento California 95834 19161 928-3300 <br />
