A soil vapor extraction (SVE) system has been operational at this site since September 17, <br /> 1992 The following table summarizes remediation performed to date <br /> TOTAL PURGEABLE PETROLEUM HYDROCARBONS (TPPH) <br /> EXTRACTED - VAPOR PHASE POUNDS <br /> COMPOUND 2nd QUARTER 1996 CUMULATIVE <br /> TPPH 34 17,607 <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling for the second quarter of 1996 are summarized <br /> below <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) measured ground water levels and collected <br /> samples from nine on-site wells (Wells MW-1 through MW-9) and one off-site well <br /> (Well MW-10)on May 15, 1996 Samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical <br /> (Sequoia) of Redwood City, California for chemical analysis <br /> • Enviros, Inc (Enviros) evaluated water-level measurement data and prepared a <br /> ground water contour map (Plate 2) Ground water flow direction appears to be <br /> northeast and southwest from a Iocalized ground water mound centered on Well <br /> MW-2 The hydraulic gradient was calculated to be 0 03 <br /> • Ground water samples collected from Wells MW-1 through MW-10 contained <br /> .
