(AGE). Based on the information
provided to this agency, the EHD believes all monitoring wells except MW-11 can be moved to
an annual sampling event and has directed AGE to collect groundwater samples from the wells
during the fourth quarter 2012.
Because MW-11 provides needed information about the effects of groundwater pumping
resulting from the dual-phase extraction system currently in operation at this site, the EHD
directs that groundwater be collected from this well during the third quarter 2012, then semi-
annually thereafter, beginning the fourth quarter 2012. Analyze all groundwater samples for
total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total
xylenes (BTEX); methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE), tertiary-butyl alcohol (TBA), tertiary-amyl
methyl ether (TAME), and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA).
If you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact Vicki McCartney at (209) 468-
9852, or by email at vmccartneyC)_slcehd.com.
Sincerely,
Victoria L.
