Super Center Mart March 2014
701 East Charter Way, Stockton
Claim No: 12741
ATTACHMENT 3: PREVIOUS RECOMMENDATIONS
May 2008, the Fund made the following recommendation: The Fund concurs with the San Joaquin
County LOP that the Responsible Party submit an interim remediation work plan and define the
extent of contamination southeast of the site. The Fund will review this site next year to track
progress,
UPDATED, May 2009, this site has been under investigation for 12 years. The San Joaquin
County LOP has directed the Responsible Party to begin dual phase extraction by June 2009. The
Fund concurs and will review this site next year to track progress.
UPDATED, May 2010, according to the Responsible Party, active remediation has been delayed
because of slow reimbursement from the Fund. The requirement to conduct corrective action is
independent of Fund approval or disbursement of monies. The Fund recommends that active
remediation begin without delay. The Fund concurs and will review this site next year to track
progress.
UPDATED, October 2011, the Fund concurs with the San Joaquin County LOP that active
remediation continue.
