Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Sent: Thursday, March 06, 2014 4:33 PM
To: 'Larson, Kirk@Waterboards'
Subject: RE: Claim 12741, 701 Charter Way, Stockton
Attachments: SWRCB Report 1-28-14.pdf
Kirk,
The attachment in your email today contained the original Review Summary Report- Closure (Fifth Review) for
Claim Number 12741; Super Center Mart, 701 East Charter Way, Stockton, CA, dated 2 January 2014.
1 am attaching the report that you sent to Nuel Henderson on 28 January 2014. It is not signed but it states on
page 2 that"The Fund concurs with the County that two additional rounds of groundwater monitoring should be
conducted by the Responsible Party following the cessation of active remediation."
This was sent to Nuel Henderson after I had received a call from Robert Trommer on 27 January 2014 telling me
that he (Robert) agreed that two rebound events should take place after terminating the operation of the
remediation system. Robert said that the report would be revised to include the need for two rounds of rebound
sampling.
I would like something signed by you or Robert stating that the Cleanup Fund concurs with San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department concerning rebound sampling so that I can direct the rebound testing at this
site.
Your help is appreciated.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney(a)sjcehd.com
s
611 NO
From: Larson, Kirk@Waterboards [ma iIto:Kirk.Larson@waterboards.ca.gov]
Sent: Thursday, March 06, 2014 11:55 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: RE: Claim 12741, 701 Charter Way, Stockton
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] [mailto:vmccartney@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Wednesday, March 05, 2014 4:16 PM
To: Larson, Kirk@Waterboards
Subject: FW: Claim 12741, 701 Charter Way, Stockton
Kirk,
You sent the appended Review Summary Report for USTCF Claim No. 12741 to Nuel Henderson on
January 28, 2014. Since the report was not signed, I have been reluctant to direct the two additional
rounds of groundwater monitoring following the cessation of active remediation at this site.
