29 December 1999
AGE-NC Project No 97-0326
' form and QA/QC are included in Appendix B
' 4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data collected from the site, AGE finds
' • The calculatedIn ound water flow at the site has been toward the south during the three
monitoring events conducted, however, the historical ground water flow at the ASA site,
' adjacent to the east, has been toward the east to northeast
• Very high concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in ground water samples
' collected from all three monitoring wells installed at the site
• Neither the vertical nor horizontal extent of impacted ground water has been delineated at
' the site
. 5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends
• Installation of additional soil bonngs and monitoring wells for continued assessment of
impacted soil and ground water as outlined in the Woi k Plan Addendum - September 1999,
prepared by AGE, and approved by the PHS-EHD
• Continuation of quarterly ground water monitoring, as required by the PHS-EHD
' • Monitoring for the presence of free product utilizing an interface probe in wells at the site
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluation of the hydrogeologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from a limited number of available data
points (ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points No
' other warranty, expressed or implied, Is made as to the professional recommendations contained in
. this report
Advanced GcoFn,ironmental,Inc
