Charter Way , Stockton , Ca <br /> Gentlemen : <br /> In reply to your letter of July 12 , 1990 , we are responding to <br /> the points in your letter . <br /> 1 . We have sent a copy of our Site Assessment to Mr . Thomas <br /> Peltier at CRWQCB on May 18 , 1990 . <br /> 2 . We are enclosing a correctly signed copy of page 6 of our <br /> report . <br /> We will be commencing within the next few weeks a quarterly <br /> monitoring program at the site . once a quarter during the months <br /> of August , November , February, and May water samples will be <br /> taken of all monitoring wells on the site . <br /> Water sampling will be performed according the the tri - regional <br /> recommendations which include purging the well until the PH , <br /> temperature , and conductivity equalize , usually about 4 or <br /> 5 well volumes . Water samples will be taken once the wells have <br /> recovered at least to 80% of their original volume or within 2 <br /> hours . Samples will be placed in VOA bottles with no head space . <br /> The bottles will be kept on ice until delivered to the Lab . <br /> The depth to water will be measured prior to purging and <br /> reported . <br /> All purged water will be placed in drums on site . The county <br /> official for this project is Mr . Steve Schneider , ( 209 ) 468 - 3441 <br /> he must be advised 48 hours prior to any sampling activity at the <br /> site . <br />
