Charter Way <br /> Stockton , CA <br /> We have reviewed the report entitled " Site Assessment " dated <br /> February 9 , 1990 submitted by California Geophysical Group , Inc . <br /> We have the following comments : <br /> 1 . The report does not indicate if a copy was also sent to <br /> the California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> ( CRWQCB ) . If this has not been done , please do so . <br /> 2 . All work and reports which require geologic or <br /> engineering data are to be stamped . ( Article 3 , of the <br /> Business and Professions Code . ) Please submit a signed <br /> and stamped replacement page ( 6 of 6 pages ) under <br /> addendum . <br /> 3 . The statement , " Boreholes BM2 and BM3 showed no soil <br /> contamination at all , " is not substantiated , given the <br /> detection limits used in the report . Consult table 2 of <br /> the Tri -Regional Staff Recommendations and the LUFT <br /> manual for proper detection limits . <br /> 4 . Errors were found in the transfer of figures from <br /> California Water Labs certificates of analysis , into the <br /> tabular form presented in the text of the report . <br /> 5e This office shall be notified 48 hours prior to the <br /> collection of future samples taken at this site . <br /> A work plan for conducting further investigation to determine the <br /> extent of impact to soil and groundwater , both on and off - site <br /> should be prepared and submitted to this office by August 1 , 1990 . <br /> The work plan should also include a proposed monitoring schedule <br /> for the existing monitoring wells , and additional wells to be <br /> installed . <br /> A Division of SanJoaquin County Health Care Services <br />
