Charter Way, Stockton, CA, Site 1060 <br /> Dear Mr. Henderson: <br /> This Workplan Addendum is submitted on behalf of Beneto, Inc. in response to our recent <br /> telephone discussion regarding the July 5, 2006 Workplan for Vertical Groundwater Investigation <br /> prepared by Lee & Pierce, Inc. <br /> All drilling will be conducted by a State-heensed (C57) drilling contractor under the supervision of <br /> John Lane, a Professional Geologist licensed by the State of California (PG 6795). The wells will <br /> be installed pursuant to State of California Water Well Standards, Bulletins 74-81 and 74-90. <br /> Drilling and Well Construction <br /> The bore hole in which to install the conductor casing for both wells will be approximately 11 t/4- <br /> inches in diameter. The conductor casings will be constructed of 6 5/8- ch outside diameter <br /> (O.D .), schedule F188 steel pipe. Pipe sections will be joined using butt welds. The pilot hole in <br /> which the well casing will be installed will be approximately 64nches in diameter and the well <br /> casing will be approximately 2 inches in diameter. In both instances, the bore hole will meet the <br /> California Water Well Standards requiring a bore hole at least 44nches larger in diameter than the <br /> casing.. <br /> MW 17B <br /> Centralizers will be used at depths of 60 feet below ground surface (bgs), 40 feet bgs, and 20 feet <br /> bgs to center the conductor casing in well MW17B. The conductor casing will be set to a total <br /> depth of approximately 80 feet bgs.
