CALIPORNIA GEOP S1CAL GROUP, INC.
12973 Cree Court, Poway CA 92064 Tel: 486-1323 679-1114
•
February 24, 1990
Gasco Oil Company
3450 E1 Camino
Ceres, CA 95307
Attn Mr Roger Liston
Gentlemen.
On Feb. 16, 1990 we received copies of the laboratory reports
from The Twining Laboratories, Inc. of two samples taken of
the stockpile material located at your EXXON Station, 749 E
Charter Way, Stooktod, CA. The results are shown in Table 1 of
this report.
As can be seen neither sample exceeded a gasoline content of 10
PPM. Benzene and ethylbenzene were non-detectable, toluene
exists at 0. 02 PPM, and xylenes at and average of 0. 12 PPM.
According to the General Risk Assessment of the LUFT Manual
(Oct. 1989) for a site with an annual precipitation of 12 to 14
inches per year, these levels are well below the acceptable
cumulative soil contamination levels.
Organic lead was tested for and found to be non-detectable at
detection levels of 1 PPM (mg/kg) See lab sheet attached.
Although the material was not tested for flash point with
gasoline levels below 1OPPM we are sure the flash point will be
well above 140 F.
We conclude the stockpile material located at the site is non-
hazardous and can be disposed of in any manner you desire.
Yours truly,
ohn Cussen
President
Environmental Assessor
