i
SITE HISTORY
On November 14 , 1989 the following tanks were removed from the
site in accordance with the Tri-Regional Recommendations:
1 8 , 000 Gal. Unleaded Gasoline
1 5, 000 Gal . Super Unleaded Gasoline
2 5, 000 Gal . Unleaded Gasoline
A total of 8 soil samples were taken , two under each tank and
analyzed for TPH and BTX&E. The lab results previously
reported varied from 1 . 9 to 3600 PPM for TPH.
The excavation site was backfilled with the original soil plus
soil from a new excavation. The site was then remodeled and
placed back in service.
• On Dec. 19 , 1989 an Electromagnetic Induction survey was
conducted on the site to aid the investigation of the areal
extent of the plume and to assist in locating the groundwater
' monitoring wells.
Three wells were drilled in January 1990 to assess the
groundwater. Our report of Feb. 9 , 1990 covered this work.
Subsequently, we attempted to obtain groundwater samples at
various times , however , the water table at the site fell
' below the bottom of the wells and has never recovered.
Between March 30 and April 2 , 1992 we drilled three additional
! wells. This work was in our report of April 30 , 1992 .
' Between July 29th and August 3rd, 1993 , we drilled two additional
wells. This work was in our report of August 24 , 1993 .
RECENT FIELD WORK
' Page 3
