In November 6, 2000, we drilled two borings (B-2 and B-3) and one monitoring well MW-13 This
was reported in our report dated December 7, 2000
RECENT WORK
SOIL
On July 20 and 21, 2005, we drilled and sampled one boring Boring (B-4)was drilled to a depth
of 160 feet below the surface (bgs) Soil samples were taken at 15, 24 and 35 feet Groundwater
samples were obtained at 72, 92, 120, 143 and 158 feet bgs
Soil samples taken in B-4 at 15, 24 and 35 feet were reported by the laboratory and none of these
samples had BTEX or oxygenates Boring B-4 was located 3 feet west of B-1, the three soil
samples taken at 15, 24, and 35 feet were without contamination The soil at this site will not
contribute to any change in the groundwater
,
WATER
Water samples from boring B-4 (Table-1) were taken at 72, 92, 120, 143 and 158 feet bgs This
sampling was done to define the contamination at more porous levels The BTEX and the TPH
level were highest at 72 uglL feet (8000) and vary to 158 feet, where the level was 1300 uglL All
of the oxygenate levels are below the California Standard of 5 uglL except for the level at 158 feet
with 11 uglL of MTBE Benzene levels are highest at 72 feet (690 ug/L) and lowest at 143 feet
f • (<0 50 ug/L) The levels of Toluene, Ethyl benzene and Xylene were under 4 2 uglL
Bonng B-4 was closed by poring hydrated cement into the boring from top to bottom
DRILLING TWO MONITORING WELLS
On July 27, 2005, we drilled monitonng well MW-16 This well is located 15 feet east of Grant
Street and south north of Charter Way, Stockton, CA This well was drilled to a depth of 50 feet, a
log of this well is included in this report
IOn July 28, 2005, we drilled monitoring well MW-14 This well is located south of Charter Way 10
feet east of the curb of Grant Street This well was drilled to a depth of 50 feet, a log of this well is
included in this report
Each well was completed by placing two (2) inch casing in to the wells The bottom 20 feet of
casing was slotted casing with 0 02 inch slots Number 3 sand was placed around casing in the
annulus of the well to three (3) inches above the slotted casing Over the sand we placed three
feet of bentonite chips to protect the sand The remainder of the wells was filled with hydrated
cement to 2 feet below the surface A traffic, box was placed over the well and cemented in place
i
s 1
i
I4
