Charter Way, Stockton, CA
Dear Mr. Morita:
Geological Technics Inc. is pleased to present the following Work Plan Addendum for our
June 27, 2002 work plan for additional site characterization. This addendum is presented in
response to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's (SJC/EHD)
September 3,2002 correspondence directives for an addendum to the plan.
In summary, the following modifications will be made to the work plan (see attached site
map for well locations):
• Only one shallow monitoring well (MW-11) will be installed instead of the four
proposed.
• Intermediate wells MW-110 and MW-11 I will be installed as proposed; wells MW-
108 and MW-109 will be moved west of their proposed locations (approximately
half the distance to wells MW-5 and MW-6) as overhead utilities and trees allow.
• A deep well MW-202 will be installed near MW-2. The new well will be developed
and sampled on the day of installation with a 24-hour laboratory turn around time.
If the well is non-detect, then two additional deep wells (MW-205 & MW206) will
be installed near wells MW-5 & MW-6. If MW-2 is impacted, then three additional
deep wells (MW-208, MW-209 & MW-210) will be installed near wells MW-108,
MW-109&MW-110.
• The deep wells will be screened in the 70-80 feet below grade surface interval.
Sw. zsnt
it Nlti/Gy k l"j se rt kwlgl -
1 `
