' Cjeo(ogica(Technws Inc Page 4
Groundwater Monitoring Report
' Project No 724 2
December 21, 1999
' During field monitoring/well purging work, water quality parameters were measured,
including Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) The ORP results (reported on the
' groundwater monitoring field notes in Appendix Q show a direct correlation of negative
values for wells in the contaminated zone Thus suggesting that natural biodegradation of
these chemicals is not a significant attenuation process To date, no wells are located outside
' the contaminated zone
As of yet the groundwater plume is not defined laterally or vertically However, it appears
' that the newly installed down gradient well, MW-5, is situated at the edge of the plume
Further quarterly groundwater monitoring events will give more understanding regarding the
trends in MW-5
' 3.0 LIMITATIONS
This report was prepared in accordance with the accepted standards and practices of the field
' of environmental geology, groundwater hydrology and good business practices It should be
recognized that definition and evaluation of environmental conditions is a difficult and
inexact science Judgments leading to conclusions and recommendations are generally made
with an incomplete knowledge of the site-specific conditions present
The tasks proposed and completed during this project were reviewed and approved by the
' local regulatory agency for compliance with the law No warranty, expressed or implied,
is made
I
I
