Charter Way <br /> Stockton, CA <br />' Project No 724 2 <br /> June 4, 1999 <br /> 1 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the Winter Quarter 1998/99 round of groundwater monitoring and <br />' testing that took place on January 25, 1999 The test results show that detectable <br /> concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in the three monitoring wells on site <br />' Concentrations in MW-1 remained consistent with those observed during the last monitoring <br /> event Concentrations in MW-2 and MW-3 roughly doubled from the last monitoring event <br />' MTBE was detected in MW-2 This is the first event where a fuel oxygenate was detected, <br /> however it was detected by method 602 which is prone to false positives The March and <br />' July 1998 events were tested by method 8260 and none of the five oxygenate compounds <br /> were detected <br /> The groundwater level dropped approximately 0 45 feet since the July 1998 monitoring <br /> event Groundwater gradient calculations show that groundwater flow is N89°E at 0 0034 <br /> ft/ft <br /> II <br />
