Although we understand that Darpetro has placed additional
monitoring wells in the area, we have not received any data
concerning that work.
Between the first sampling in October, 1992, and the May, 1994
event, the water table had risen an average of 4. 67' . It has
dropped 1 . 36' since the May measurement. The changes in the
water table could be affecting the varied levels of contamination
measured to date
At a meeting held on February 7, 1994, (discussed in detail in
the prior quarterly report, ) it was agreed that monitoring would
continue on the Morita property until additional investigative
work is conducted associated with the major soil & groundwater
contamination problem at the nearby Darpetro site. We have not
received any information concerning that investigation, and will
continue quarterly monitoring until we receive further
instructions.
We have also included a copy of the hazardous waste manifest for
removal of purge water from monitoring well operations.
• SiPVRWQCB,,
y
Wmu ter & sociates
cck Morita
Beth Thayer
C.:) c£oocs
WILLIAM i HUNTER
# NO 860
sl9OF CAL*P
i
