Stockton Site Code 1061
Dear Michael ,
We am enclosing a copy of the field report, water analysis, and
gradient map for the above property The work was performed on
July 29, 1994 by Del-Tech Geotechraz_caJ Support Services as
directed by our office
The attached map, (EXAIBII A, ) shows the gradient as measured
during the latest sampling period, as well as the directions
indicated by prior data All of the measurements indicate a
rather stable hydraulic gradient to the ortheast This is
• consistent with both regional data and that measured at the
Darpetro site to the northeast of the; Morita property
A summary of all of the laboratory analyzes of water samples
taken since monitoring began in October, 1992, is included as
TABLE I
Based on the gradient data obtained to data , monitoring well #2
is downgradient from both the site of the removed UST' s and the
pump island Wells #1 & 1t3 are on strike with, (paraJlel to, )
the gradient , and a considerable distance from those sites MW-1
has consistently recorded low levels of BTRX & TPH-G since moni-
toring began, the latest sampling showed only Toluene was above
detection levels MW-3 , which is the farthest from the tank
site , had recorded varying amounts of B'fEX, and the highest
levels of TPH-G during prior samplings However, the latest
tests showed all components were below detection levels , the
first time that has occurred MW--2, which is in a downgradient
position, has recorded varying levels of B`1'EX & TPH-G The
latest sampling showed that well to have significantly higher
r levels of all components compared to the other two wells
Although these readings are fairly conLi :tent with gradient data,
the ongoing activities associated with the DarPetxo investigation
nearby may be influencing the movement of the groundwater in this
area
