Report for 814 E
Charter Way, Stockton, Site Cade 1061
Dear Michael ,
I am enclosing a copy of the field report,- water analysis , and
gradient map for the above property The work was_perfgrmed_ on
;May 14,- 1994' by Del-Tech Geotechnical Support Services as _
directed by my office
The attached map, (EXHIBIT A, ) shows the gradients as measured
during the last 6 sampling periods All of the measurements
indicate a rather consistent hydraulic gradient to the east-
northeast This data is consistent with both regional data and
that measured at the Darpetro site to the northeast of the Morita
0 property
It is interesting to note the changes in levels of contamination
measured in the 3 wells since monitoring began in October, 1992
That data is summarized below for your information
MN-1 MN-2 M#-3
Results of all tests are in ug/1.
10/92 3/93 6193 10193 2194 5194 10192 3193 6193 10193 2194 5/94 10192 3193 6193 10193 2194 5194
B NO NO NO NO 0.4 NO 7.0 3.0 NO 38 19 27 19.0 17.0 13.0 15 8.6 7 0
T NO NO 0.9 2.3 4.8 3.9 1.6 1.9 0.7 17 5.4 8.2 NO 7 4 7.0 6.2 5.8 16
E NO ND NO 0.6 0.5 0.6 NO 0.3 NO 11 3.9 4 5 NO 0.7 0.7 30 2 7 NO
% NO NO 0.4 1.2 0.3 0.7 NO 1.0 0.4 19 3.1 5 7 NO 1.3 1.3 2 8 33 3.7
TPH6 60 200 NO 81 150 110 470 500 NO 531 225 230 550 1200 110 390 700 700
Based on the gradient data mentioned earlier, monitoring well #2
is downgradient from both the site of the removed [SST' s and the
pump island Wells #1 & #3 are on strike with, (parallel to, )
the gradient, and a considerable distance from those sites MW-1
has recorded the lowest levels of BTEX & TPH-G in each of the 5
sampling periods to date, although it is the closest to the site
of the removed tanks . MW-3 , which is the farthest from the tank
site, has recorded varying amounts of BTEX, and the highest
levels of TPH-G MW-2 , which is more nearly in a downgradient
position, should be consistently recording the highest levels
However, a review of the above table reveals that there does not
appear to be a good correlation between MW#2 & #3 in the levels
1
