' cicotog(ca1 T-C441CS Inc <br /> Page G <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Project No 724 2 <br /> August 11,2003 <br /> In their correspondence dated April 24, 2002, the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (SJC/EHD) directed the submittal of a work plan for additional lateral <br /> plume definition GTI prepared this work plan on June 27, 2002 On September 3, 2002, <br /> Mi Nuel Henderson of SJC/EHD issued a letter requesting modifications to the work plan <br /> ' On September 25, 2002, GTI submitted a letter modifying the June 27, 2002 work plan <br /> The modifications have been approved by SJC/EHD and the work has received cost pre- <br /> approval from the USTCFP The work will be scheduled pending receipt of encroachment <br /> pen-nits from the City of Stockton The goal of the revised plan is to target certain sand <br /> horizons for disciete screen monitoring and detennine if preferred paths of migration may <br /> have allowed elevated concentrations to be missed by the current well spacing <br /> 4.0 LIMITATIONS <br /> ' This report was prepared in accordance with the generally accepted standard of care and <br /> practice in effect at the time Services were rendered It should be recognized that definition <br /> and evaluation of environmental conditions is an inexact science and that the state or <br /> practice of environmental geology/hydiology is changing and evolving and that standards <br /> existing at the present time may change as knowledge increases and the state of the practice <br /> continues to improve Further, that differing subsurface soil characteristics can be <br /> experienced within a small distance and therefore cannot be known in an absolute sense <br /> All conclusions and recommendations are based on the available data and inforination. <br /> The tasks proposed and completed during this project were reviewed and approved by the <br />' local regulatory agency for compliance with the law No warranty, expressed or implied, is <br /> made <br />
