cwlogaal rechccs lie Page 6 <br /> Groundwater Monitonng Report <br /> Project No 724 2 <br /> May 15,2003 <br /> In their correspondence dated April 24, 2002, the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (SJC/EHD) directed the submittal of a work plan for additional lateral <br /> plume definition GTI prepared this work plan on June 27, 2002 On September 3, 2002, <br /> Mr Nuel Henderson of SJC/EHD issued a letter requesting modifications to the work plan <br /> ' On September 25, 2002, GTI submitted a letter modifying the June 27, 2002 work plan <br /> The modifications have been approved by SJC/EHD and the work has received cost pre- <br /> approval from the USTCFP Implementation of the work is projected to start in May 2003 <br /> The goal of the revised plan is to target certain sand horizons for discrete screen monitoring <br /> and determine if preferred paths of migration may have allowed elevated concentrations to <br /> tbe missed by the current well spacing <br /> 4.0 LIMITATIONS <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the generally accepted standard of care and <br /> practice in effect at the time Services were rendered It should be recognized that definition <br /> ' and evaluation of environmental conditions is an inexact science and that the state or <br /> practice of environmental geology/hydrology is changing and evolving and that standards <br /> existing at the present time may change as knowledge increases and the state of the practice <br /> continues to improve Further, that differing subsurface soil characteristics can be <br /> experienced within a small distance and therefore cannot be known in an absolute sense <br /> All conclusions and recommendations are based on the available data and information. <br /> ' The tasks proposed and completed during this project were reviewed and approved by the <br /> local regulatory agency for compliance with the law No warranty, expressed or implied, is <br /> made <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />
