1 , <br /> i, CC0109 cat Tecwcs Inc, <br /> ' 1101 7`b Street <br /> Modesto,Cahforma 95354 <br /> (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> ' November 21, 2005 <br /> Project No 7242 <br /> ' Project Name Morita (Charter) <br /> ' Mr Frank Morita <br /> 6622 Belmont Place <br /> Stockton, CA 95207 <br /> ' RE Report 3rd Quarter 2005 Groundwater Monitoring <br /> Location Morita Brothers, 814 E Charter Way, Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Mr Morita <br /> Geological Technics Inc has prepared the following Report for the 3d Quarter 2005 <br /> groundwater monitoring activities completed on August 22, 2005 at the 814 E Charter Way <br /> ' location The groundwater data obtained during the event are consistent with the historical <br /> data <br /> ' The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJC/EHD) indicated their desire <br /> to consider the site for closure in their letter correspondence dated November 24, 2004 In <br /> our "3rd Quarter 2004 Groundwater Monitoring Report" dated November 12, 2004 we <br /> ' recommended performing a Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) investigation to further define <br /> the cross gradient extent of the plume north of MW-108/208 and the down gradient extent <br /> ' east of the well set MW-109/209 <br /> SJC/EHD subsequently approved the proposed work and the CPT borings were scheduled for <br /> ' November 14, 2005 On November 11, 2005 the sidewalk was cut and concrete removed to <br /> facilitate the CPT borings Traffic barricades and caution tape were placed over the holes for <br /> safety <br /> ' Unfortunately, the drilling company had to reschedule the drilling (due to an employee family <br /> emergency) and the City of Stockton has placed a moratorium on encroachment work in the <br /> ' city right-of-way between the Thanksgiving and New Years holiday season Therefore, the <br /> project is on hold for the time being due to the City of Stockton constraint but we will <br /> reschedule the CPT for January 2006 as soon as possible <br />
