Charter Way <br />' Stockton, CA <br /> Protect No 724 2 <br /> March 7, 2002 <br />• EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />' This report summarizes the 4` Quarter 2001 round of groundwater monitoring and testing <br /> that took place on December 6, 2001 This is the fifth monitoring event since five new <br /> monitoring wells were installed on November 20-22, 2000 The laboratory analyses <br /> indicate that severe of the ten monitoring wells on this site continue to be impacted by <br /> gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons The groundwater contamination plume appears to <br /> have migrated off site as evident from detection in well MW-106 The contamination is <br />' present in well MW-106 at a depth of approximately 25 feet below the water table <br /> The groundwater level has decreased approximately 0 9 feet since the September 2001 <br /> monitoring event The average groundwater elevation at the site was —19 60 feet mean sea <br /> level (msl) and this corresponds to approximately 35 feet below grade surface (bgs) <br /> Groundwater gradient calculations show that groundwater flow was S48°E at 0 0019 ft/ft for <br /> the December 6, 2001 event <br />' On December 20, 2001, the wells were re-surveyed in accordance with the Geotracker <br /> requirements by Thompson-Hysell Engineering of Modesto, CA The groundwater levels in <br /> the wells were also sounded on this date For this second December 2001 event, the average <br />' groundwater elevation at the site was —19 57 feet mean sea level (msl) and the groundwater <br /> flow was S69°E at 0 0114 ft/ft <br />
