CealagicaC Ucha cs lac. <br />2741 River Road <br />Modesto, California 95351 <br />(209) 538-6424/Fax # 538-5852 <br />REPORT <br />Groundwater Monitoring <br />3 d Quarter 2001 <br />Morita Brothers <br />814 E Charter Way <br />Stockton, CA <br />Project No 724 2 <br />November 13, 2001 <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />This report summarizes the 3`a Quarter 2001 round of groundwater monitoring and testing <br />that took place on September 17, 2001 This is the fourth monitoring event since five new <br />monitoring wells were installed on November 20-22, 2000 The laboratory analyses <br />indicate that five of the ten monitoring wells on this site continue to be impacted by <br />gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons The groundwater contamination plume appears to <br />have migrated off site to well MW -106 The contamination is present in well MW -106 at a <br />depth of approximately 23 feet below the water table <br />The groundwater level has decreased approximately 1 61 feet since the Tune 2001 <br />' monitoring event Groundwater gradient calculations show that groundwater flow was <br />S630E at 0 004 ft/ft for the September 2001 event <br />1 <br />lA GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br />' 1.1 Hydrogeology of Site <br />' Site-specific groundwater gradients and bearings for water table and intermediate wells <br />were calculated utilizing computer software generated contours The gradient in water table <br />wells MW -4, MW -5, MW -6 and MW -7 was flowing S63°E at 0 004 ft/ft, which is the <br />southern most direction noted during the course of the investigation The average elevation <br />
