Charter Way
Stockton, CA
' Project No 724 2
April 17, 2000
1
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report summarizes the 1" Quarter 2000 round of groundwater monitoring and testing
' that took place on March 8, 2000 The test results show that detectable concentrations of the
aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) are present in the five monitoring wells associated
with the site Gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in three of the
five wells
This is the third event that included testing for the oxygenated fuel compounds by EPA
Method 8260 All wells were non-detect for these compounds
The groundwater level rose approximately 143 feet since the November 1999 monitoring
event Groundwater gradient calculations show that groundwater flow is N85°E at 0 0009
ft/ft
1,0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING
' 11 Hydrogeology of Site
A site-specific groundwater gradient and bearing was calculated from the depth to water
measurements taken during the groundwater monitoring The gradient was 0 0009 ft/ft
flowing N851E, which is consistent with previous monitoring events The average elevation
1
