Morita Brothers Service Station 4 July 16, 1992 <br /> California DOHS Luft Methods for gasoline and diesel, for the fuel constituent volatile <br /> aromatics, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) using USEPA Test <br /> Method 8020, halogenated hydrocarbons using USEPA Test Method 8010, for EDB using <br /> USEPA Test Method 504, for PCBs using USEPA Test Method 8080, for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as oil and grease using USEPA Test Method 418 1, and for CAM Title 22 <br />' metals <br /> TPH as gasoline was detected in sample PN-I at 3 feet beneath the north end of the <br /> product pipelines and adjacent to the northern three dispensers at a concentration of <br /> 50 mg/kg Benzene was detected in this sample at 12 mg/kg, and total lead was <br /> detected in this sample at 84 mg/kg TPH as gasoline and the volatile aromatics were <br /> not detected at or above the minimum detection level in samples PS-2, and PC-3 TPH <br />' as gasoline as detected in sample TK-IS at a depth of 12 feet beneath the south end of <br /> the 5,000 gallon leaded gasoline tank at a concentration of 21 mg/kg, but not beneath <br /> the north end of the tank in sample TK-I N Lead was detected at 6 4 mg/kg and 3 4 <br /> mg/kg in these samples respectively EDB was not detected in these or any of the <br /> t other seven samples analyzed for the presence of EDB TPH as gasoline was detected <br /> at 2,250 mg/kg, and 980 mg/kg in samples TK-2S and TK-2N at a depth of 12 feet from <br /> beneath the south and north ends of the former 5,000 gallon unleaded gasoline tank, <br /> respectively Benzene was detected in these samples at 5 905 mg/kg and 1 665 mg/kg, <br /> respectively TPH as gasoline was detected in sample TK-3N at a depth of 12 feet <br /> beneath the north end of the 2,000 gallon premium unleaded gasoline tank at a <br /> concentration of 80 mg/kg, but was not detected in sample TK-3S from beneath the <br /> south end of the tank No volatile aromatics were detected in these samples TPH as <br /> gasoline and diesel as well as the volatile aromatics, EDB, and PCBs were not detected <br /> in sample TK-4 from beneath the 500 gallon waste oil tank However, TPH as oil and <br /> grease was detected at 40 mglkg, and lead was detected at 25 mg/kg in this sample <br />' None of the other CAM Title 22 metals were detected above apparent background <br /> concentrations TPH as gasoline was detected in samples SPE-1, SPE-2, and SPW from <br /> the stockpiled soil at concentrations of 8 mglkg, 32 mglkg, and 120 mg/kg, <br />' respectively Lead was detected in these samples at 27 mg/kg, 24 mg/kg, and 15 <br /> mglkg, respectively <br />' E13-8101-3 9207-EO37 WP <br />■ <br />
