I
18 November 2005
• AGE-NC Project No 02-0962
No additional analytes were detected In the ground water'samples collected on 01 September 2005
' Analytical results of ground water samples are summarized in Table 3 The laboratory report(CTEL
Protect No CT214-0509014), QA/QC reports, and chain of custody form are included in
L Appendix H " m r _ ._ ^
1
' 35 GEOTRACKER CONFIRMATIONS
Documents confirming the upload of laboratory electronic deliverable format(EDF)files and depth
to water measurements to GeoTracker are included In Appendix I,,
s
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
r
Based upon data collected during this monitoring event, AGE concludes the following
1 • In general, brown clayey silt was encountered from surface grade to between 20 feet and 25
feet bsg, characteristically, the material had low plasticity and toughness Brown to gray,
moist to saturated, poorly graded sandy silt and silty sand was encountered below the clayey
silt to a depth of approximately 30 feet bsg A layer of brown clayey silt and gray clay was
encountered in boring MW-5 between 25 feet and 30 feet bsg At 35 feet bsg,the total depth
of the borings, gray, fine-grained, poorly graded micaceous sand was encountered
• TPH-g was detected in the soil samples collected from boring MW-4 at 15 feet and 35 feet
' bsg (MW4-15 and MW4-35, respectively) at concentrations of 46 mg/kg and 230 mg/kg,
respectively, TPH-g was detected In soil samples MW6-30 and MW6-35 at concentrations
of 34 mg/kg and 38 mg/kg, respectively TPH-d was detected in soil samples MW4-15,
' MW4-20, MW4-35, MW6-30, and MW6-35 at a maximum concentration of 2,600 mg/kg
in sample MW4-15 MTBE was detected In samples MW4-20 and MW4-25 at
concentrations of 0 016 mg/kg and 0 017 mg/kg, respectively
• During the September 2005 ground water monitoring event, depths to ground water ranged
from=19 63 feet to 19 88 feet below the tops of the well casings Ground water elevation at
the site averaged approximately 7 79 feet below MSL,indicating a decrease In ground water
elevation of 146 feet since the last ground water monitoring event in May 2005
I
` Ori 01 September 2005, ground water was inferred to be flowing radially outward from a
ground,water mound centered over well MW-6 under 'a uniform hydraulic gradient of ;
approximately 0 001 ft/ft
' • TPH-g and MTBE were detected in the ground water sample collected from well MW-4 at
equivalent concentrations of 120 µg/l (Table 3), since MTBE is included in CTEL's TPH-g
Advanced GeoEnvironmentsl,Inc
I
