INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr David Atwater of Van De Pol Enterprises,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc- - <br />', (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2005 for the property located at <br /> 1033 West Charter Way, Stockton, California(site) The scope of work included the performance <br />' of a quarterly ground water monitoring event, submission of monitoring and analytical data to'the <br /> State Water Resources Control Board's GeoTracker Information management system, and <br /> preparation of this report The location of the site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1, <br />' structures, soil borings, and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Background <br /> Information, including details of previous site assessment work, is presented in Appendix A <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Field work was conducted In accordance with guidelines established by the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)for the subsurface investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites and the <br /> sampling of ground water monitoring wells, respectively <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> On 25 May 2005, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water In <br />' monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-3 relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth to <br /> ground water measurements were collected, casing water In each monitoring well was evacuated <br /> using a Waterra Inertia pump and dedicated tubing Approximately 7 to 7 5 gallons of water were <br /> evacuated from each of the monitoring wells, equivalent to three casing water volumes per well <br /> Temperature, pH, and conductivity of the purged water were measured for stability at regular <br />' Intervals using an Oakton water analyzer Field data logs are provided in Appendix B Purged water " <br /> was containerized in properly labeled, Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon <br /> drums and stored on-site pending proper disposal <br /> 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Ground water samples were collected from each monitoringwell using a Waterra,mertia pump and <br /> dedicated tubing after allowing the well to achieve a minimum 80%recovery of the pre-purge water <br /> volume The samples from each well were transferred Into three 40-milliliter(ml) volatile organic <br /> . analysis(VOA)vials containing 0 5 ml 18%hydrochloric acid solution as a sample preservative,and <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
