' 17 June 2005
AGE-NC Project No 02-0962
the three groundwater monitoring wells Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized z
in Table 2 The laboratory report (CTEL Project No CT214-0505249), quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC) reports, and chain of custody form are Included in Appendix D Documents
' confirming the upload of laboratory electronic deliverable format (EDF) files and depth to water
measurements to GeoTracker are included in Appendix E
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
' Based upon data collected during this monitoring event, AGE concludes the following
On 25 May 2005,depths to groundwater ranged from 18 19 feet to 18 36 feet below the tops
' of the well casings Ground water elevation at the site averaged approximately 6 33 feet
below MSL, indicating an increase in ground water elevation of 140 feet since the last
ground water monitoring event in March 2004
' During the May 2005 ground water monitoring event, ground water was inferred to be
flowing toward the southeast under a hydraulic gradient of approximately 0 001 ft/ft
lie o None of the constituents of concern were detected in ground water samples from any of the `
three ground water monitoring wells for the fourth consecutive quarter
G The lateral and vertical extents of dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon contamination appear
to have been defined by the monitoring well network
r
S.Q. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings of the environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends
reduction of quarterly monitoring events to annual monitoring events, or when requiredfor closure
verification'on the three non-impacted wells, MW-1 through MW-3
In February 2005, the EHD approved a work plan for the installation of additional ground water
monitoring wells at the site to confirm the dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons AGE will begin the
next phase of the investigation in the start of the third quarter 2005
r
I ,
Advanced GwEnvironmental,Inc
