A hazardous waste generator shall not <br /> treat, store,dispose of,transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an ID number. If you or your <br /> business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous <br /> waste,then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. All others must obtain a State ID number. Go to the DTSC web <br /> site http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to apply for an ID number. Immediately obtain <br /> an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> There was a 55 gallon waste drum of drained used oil filters without an accumulation start date. It was stated by the <br /> owner Alfredo Sanchez that the used oil filters have been on site for more than a year now. <br /> Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used <br /> oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. <br /> Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that <br /> generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters <br /> under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by April 4, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
