We have applied for assistance from <br /> the Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund and desire to <br /> comply with all the requirements including those relating to <br /> competitive bidding . <br /> Your proposal for the work and testing necessary to <br /> meet the requirements outlined in the February 10 , 1992 <br /> letter from San Joaquin County Public Health Services would <br /> be appreciated on or before March 4 , 1992 . We would like to <br /> promptly award the contract and if possible meet the March <br /> 12 , 1992 deadline imposed by Public Health Services . <br /> i <br /> The proposal should include prices for <br /> 1 ) preparation of a work plan to determine the extent <br /> of soil and groundwater contamination and price for the <br /> installation and monitoring associated with the soil borings <br /> and monitoring wells to determine the extent of soil and <br /> groundwater contamination ; <br /> 2 ) testing of the previously excavated soil which is <br /> stored on site - quantity estimated to be about 50 cubic <br /> yards ; <br /> I <br /> 3 ) preparation of a work plan for removal and disposal <br />;i of the free product ; and <br /> 4 ) testing and submittal of quarterly monitoring <br /> reports . <br /> Please submit with your proposal a statement of quali - <br /> fications which should include a list of projects previously <br /> i <br /> I <br />
