Charter Way CUF#: 0552
Stockton, CA 95206 APN : 163-230-39
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed Quarterly
Report — First Quarter 2009 (QMR) dated May 15 , 2009 , submitted to Geotracker on May
19 , 2009, by your consultant Advanced GeoEnviron mental and has the following comments .
The QMR covered the ground water sampling event conducted onsite March 12, 2009, for a
modified sampling frequency that was previously approved by the EHD . Recommendations
included in the QMR requested that additional monitoring wells also be considered for
reduced sampling frequency.
The EHD has evaluated the data for MW- 13 and MW- 14 and agrees that the status of the
ground water plume could still be adequately monitored if these wells were reduced to 2 !
annual sampling .
The modified sampling program is as follows:
• Wells MW-2, MW4 , MW-5, MW-6, MW-15 , and EW- 1 shall be sampled semi-
annually.
• The remainder of the wells are to be sampled annually.
• Quarterly reports on the status of the investigation/remediation , activities conducted
at the site during the reporting period , and dates when future
investigation/remediation at the site will occur are to be submitted to Geotracker.
The QMR submitted to the EHD did not include this information .
In correspondence dated May 12, 2009 , the EHD approved the Interim Remedial Action
Pian ( TRAP) and required you to continue your investigation to define the lateral and vertical
extents of impacted soil and ground water. A work plan to continue this work is due on
Geotracker 90 days after the start up of the interim remedial action . Please update the EHD
on the status of the TRAP.
