INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Dante John Nomellmi,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared _ <br /> 1 this quarterly report for 1045 West Charter Way, Stockton, California(the site) The scope of work <br /> Included removal of free-phase petroleum product from well VW-1, operation of the soil vapor <br /> ,extraction(SVE)system,and preparation ofthis report The location of the site and surrounding area <br />' are Illustrated on Figure 1 Mayor site features and monitoring well locations are Illustrated on <br /> Figure 2 <br />' This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines Issued by the Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites <br /> Background information is summarized in the AGE-prepared Revised Remedial Action Work Plan, <br /> dated 16 April 1997 <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Removal of free-phase petroleum product from well VW-1 was conducted throughout the first and <br /> second quarter 2004 Operation and monitoring of an SVE system was re-initiated on 03 February <br /> 2004, and conducted throughout the rest of the first and second quarter 2004 <br /> I r <br /> 21 PURGE WATER DISPOSAL <br /> 1 - <br /> On 07 January 2004, approximately 400 gallons of non-hazardous purge water were pumped from <br /> on-site 55-gallon drums Pumping and disposal were completed by American Valley Waste Oil and <br />' disposed at the Riverbank Oil Transfer facility of Riverbank, California A copy of the waste <br /> disposal manifest is Included in Appendix A <br /> 2 2 FLOATING PETROLEUM PRODUCT REMOVAL <br /> On 02 January 2004,well VW-1 was monitored for free-phase floating petroleum product utilizing <br /> a Solinst Interface Probe, no free product was detected A clear,disposable polyethylene bailer was <br /> I utilized at the well to visually check for floating petroleum product, petroleum product was'not <br /> observed <br /> On 08 January 2004,approximately 0 08 feet of free-phase petroleum product was measured in well <br /> VW-I utilizing a Solinst Interface Probe, floating petroleum product and ground water were <br /> Advanced GcoEnvnronmentai,Inc <br /> r <br />
