rfa F I'— Th <br /> ��- <br /> ARI ESIAN ENVIRONMENTAL C O N S L�t KK,'A�I 7 SM Z= 24 <br /> I <br />' Date September 30, 1993 <br /> Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring <br />' Sampled August 18, 1993 <br /> 1045 W Charter Way <br /> Stockton, California <br />' Project No 040-001-09 <br /> Prepared for <br />' Mr Dante John Nomellim <br /> Nomellim Construction Company <br /> P O Box 1528 <br />' Stockton, California 95201 <br /> This report presents the results of the quarterly groundwater monitoring well <br /> sampling, performed on August 18, 1993 by Artesian Environmental Consultants <br /> (Artesian) at the subject site (Figures 1 and 2) The site history is summarized in <br /> Appendix A <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br />' The site is located at 1045 West Charter Way, in Stockton,California A site location <br /> map is presented in Figure 1 A map showing the site structure and boring locations <br />' is presented in Figure 2 The property is located in an industrial area <br /> GROUNDWATER SAMPLING <br /> On August 18, 1993, Artesian staff measured depth to water for six groundwater <br /> monitoring wells designated MW-1 through MW-6 Monitor well MW-5 was purged <br /> and sampled according to a revised schedule approved by Ms Linda Turkatte of the <br /> San Joaquin County of Environmental Health All groundwater samples were <br /> collected according to the Artesian standard operating procedures (SOP) for <br /> groundwater sampling included in Appendix B Free product measurements were <br />' made with an oil-water interface probe <br /> All purged water was temporarily stored in DOT 17-H, 55-gallon containers pending <br /> ' analytical results The groundwater samples were shipped under chain-of-custody to <br /> CKY Incorporated Environmental Services, of Pleasanton,California CKY is <br /> certified by the state of California to perform the required analyses <br /> ' GROUNDWATER FLOW <br /> Figure 3 shows the potentiometric surface of shallow groundwater based on depth-to- <br /> water measurements taken on August 18, 1993 The estimated groundwater gradient <br /> and flow direction was 0 010 vertical feet per horizontal foot to the east - southeast for <br /> ' the August 18, 1993 sampling event Groundwater-elevation data are presented in <br /> Table 1 <br />
