ANALYTIC RESULTS ' Groundwater samples from monitor wells MW-3 through MW-6 for the May 14, 1993 event were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) by modified EPA Method 8015, benzene, toluene,ethylbenzene and total xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Method 8020 and for organic lead by DHS Method AB 1803 The analytic results for all sampling events including this round of sampling, are summarized in Table 2 Laboratory reports with quality assurance/quality control documents are included in Appendix C The chain-of-custody form is included as ' - Appendix D ' COMMENTS The groundwater flow direction for the May 14, 1993 sampling event was to the east- northeast, which is similar to the east-southeast flow direction of the February 22, ' 1993 sampling event. The highest TPH-g concentrations were detected in monitor well MW-3 at levels of 59,000 ppb. Benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and total xylenes were found in MW-3 at concentrations of 18,000 ppb, 14,000 ppb , 600 ppb ' and 5,800 ppb,respectively Approximately 700 milliliters of free product were removed from the passive skimmer installed on monitor well MW-1. After removal of the passive skimmer, no measurable free product was found. None of the other monitor wells contained measurable amounts of floating product DISTRIBUTION: ' Submission to the RWQCB and the local implementing agency should include a copy of flus report(in its entirety) and a cover letter from the property owner/trustee agent.
