1 T ! <br /> Quarterly Report - November 1997 <br /> NOMELLINI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY t <br /> I4 1045 West Charter Way _ <br /> Stockton, California <br /> I1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with a request from Mr Dante John Nomellini of Nomellim Construction Company, <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has,prepared this Quarterly Report for 1045 West Charter <br /> Way, Stockton, California The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are <br />' illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br />' The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground <br /> water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report is prepared <br /> ,in accordance with guidelines established by the Sari Joaquin County Public Health Ser"ices - <br /> s Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br />' Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) Site; A sun.mary of <br /> previous investigations at the site was included in the Quaff lerly Report - Febi uai y 1996 dated 17 <br />' May 1996, prepared by AGE <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> 2 1 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br />' On 25 Novembe95ingg <br /> e depth to ground water in each monitoring well was measured to the <br /> nearest 0 01 foot a Solist water level meter Ground water elevations from MW-1 through <br />' MW-9 were then calculated bN subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed <br /> casing elevations (Table 1) Ground water ele,,ations with respect to mean sea level -%N ere plotted and <br /> contoured on a scaled site map (Figure 3) <br />' After water levels were measured a roximatel ten to fifteen gallons minimum of three well <br /> pp Y g ( <br /> volumes per well) of water were purged from wells MW-1 through MW-9 utilizina two-stage <br /> rsubmersible pump Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at regular intervals from each , <br /> well using an ICM Model 52200 water analyzer, to monitor for stabilization of these characteristics <br /> during purging Stabilization data and field logs are included with Appendix A Purged ground water <br />' - was containerized in 55-gallon drums and stored on-site in an area lacking general public access <br /> I2 2 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION <br />' The ground water levels in monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-9 were allowed to recover for a <br /> minimum of one hour prior to sample collection Ground water samples wei e collected utilizing <br /> disposable polyethylene bailers and new,nylon rope Sufficient ground water sample was collected <br /> } AdiancedGcoEnriron mental.Inc <br />
