upon the results of laboratory analysis . The responsible <br /> regulatory agency will be notified prior to commencement of <br /> operations <br /> 11 As soon as practical after development, the static water <br /> level & amount of free product, if any, will be measured by use <br /> of a electrical multiphase interface probe device After <br /> determining the effective depth, each well will be purged by <br /> evacuating a minimum Qf three (3) casing volumes of fluid from <br /> the well Purging may be accomplished by either (1) bailing by <br /> use of a disposal teflon or reuseable stainless steel bailer, (2) <br /> pumping by use of a downhole impeller or bladder pump, or (3) a <br /> surface peristatic pump. All equipment will be thoroughly <br /> decontaminated with Alconox & clean water, with a final rinse <br /> with deionzzed or distilled water prior to use <br /> 12 During purging operations, the water will be continually <br /> monitored to determine temperature, pH, & electrical conduct- <br /> ivity After the reading indicate that well conditions have <br /> stabilized, water samples will be collected by use of a clean <br /> teflon bailer run on new nylon cord They will be placed in <br /> clean glass vials & sealed with teflon lined lids making sure <br /> there is no headspace . The samples will be promptly preserved on <br /> ice & transported to a State Certified laboratory under proper <br /> chain of custody Samples are to be analyzed for BTEX (EPA <br /> 8020, ) TPH-G (EPA 5030/8015M, ) and TRPH, (EPA 3510/8015M ) <br /> Personel from the responsible regulatory agency will be contacted <br /> prior to start of purging & sampling operations . <br /> 13 The wellhead elevation & surface coordinates will be <br /> determined by a licensed surveyor after well has been completed <br /> General field procedures and QA/QC details are included as <br /> APPENDIX B <br /> ESTIMATED TIMETABLES FOR COMPLETING THE TASKS AS DETAILED IN THIS <br /> WORKPLAN <br /> 1 . Submittal of revised workplan - December 8, 1995 <br /> 2 Receive trespass agreement from adjacent property owner - <br /> December 29, 1995 . <br /> 3 . Conduct surface geophysical survey - January 12, 1996 . <br /> 4 . Obtain bids from qualified geoprobe & drilling contractors & <br /> testing laboratories, and obtain necessary drilling permits <br /> from San Joaquin County EHD - January 19, 1996 <br /> 8 <br />
