Charter Way, Stockton
Dear Mr Weiss;
As I mentioned on the phone earlier, 4 auger holes & 4 monitoring
wells were placed on the above property on July 5 & 6 using MDE
rig & equipment . All work was done under my direct supervision,
assisted by Don Light of Del-Tech Geotechnical Support . The
laboratory results, water level measurements & survey data have
finally been received, and we are in the process of preparing a
report covering the activities . However, due to an extremely
heavy workload, that report may not be finished for several
weeks . In order for you to review some of the data derived from
that work, we are including the following "rough" documents for
your review:
. 1 . Field logs of auger holes A, B, C, & D
2 . Field logs of monitoring wells I, 2, 3 , & 4
3 . Well completion diagrams of the four monitoring wells
4 . Tables VIII, IX, X, & XI summarizing the laboratory results
of soil & water samples .
5 . A portion of the site map showing locations of the auger
holes and monitoring wells, casing elevations, depth to water,
(MSL datum, ) contours on the top of the water table, and the
hydraulic gradient indicated from that data
Preliminary maps of lines of equal concentrations of THP-G, TRPH
as diesel, and BTEX suggest a possible source of contamination to
the south and west . Those maps will be included with the final
report when finished.
We are planning on uncovering and sampling the unused clay
"mystery" line that parallels the west property line in an
attempt to determine what it was used for. The results of that
work will also be included in the report .
If you have any questions concerning the material we have
furnished you, please contact our office at your convenience
Sinc 1
Wm unter & Associates
cc, W. Miles, (w/o attach. )
