Monitoring has shone <br /> that monitoring wells(MWs)4 6 and 7, which are in the source area, contain nondetectable or low levels of <br /> heavy-end petroleum products Nomellini Construction Company at 1045 West Charter Way is responsible <br /> for MW 5 and conducts quarterl monitoring. MW 5 contains total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), benzene, <br /> toluene, ethylbenzene and xyl e; however, this well does not contain methyl tertiary-butyl ether. <br /> San Joaquin County Departure it of Environmental Health(SJCDEH) has requested that JM Equipment <br /> Company, which is at 1245 Ch arter Way, accept responsibility for MWs 1, 2, 3 and 8 at 1145 West Charter <br /> Way and for MW-9 at 1245 W st Charter Way which Miles and Nolet installed. These wells will be <br /> managed as part of monitoring activities initiated as a result of a TPH release at JM Equipment. Miles and <br /> Nolet shall continue to maintai i monitoring wells MWs 1, 2, 3 and 8 in operating condition until an <br /> agreement regarding these wel and MW-9 is reached between them and JM Equipment <br /> Once I receive confirmation frc in the SJCDEH that MWs 4, 6 and 7 have been properly destroyed and a <br /> copy of an agreement between Vfiles and Nolet and JM Equipment regarding MWs 1, 2, 3, 8, and 9,I will <br /> proceed With issuing a"No Ful ther Action Required" letter. Further groundwater monitoring by Miles and <br /> Nolet is no longer required. <br /> SJCDEH oversees the work at i he Nomelini Construction and JM Equipment sites.
