EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report summarizes the 2"d Quarter 2000 round of groundwater monitoring and testing
that took place on June 16, 2000 The analytical results of groundwater samples show that
detectable concentrations of BTEX and TPH-G were present in five of eight groundwater
' monitoring wells The fuel oxygenate compound MTBE was detected in two of the eight
wells, and the concentrations detected had increased since the March 8, 2000 sampling event
' On June 16, the average depth to groundwater at the site was 13 07 bgs and the groundwater
flow was N6°W at 0 0005 ft/ft
' 1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING
1.1 Hydrogeology of Site
' The geology of the site is predominately clays and sandy clays with lesser amounts of silts
and sands The average groundwater elevation was 5 60 feet below MSL on June 16, 2000
' MSL is approximately 7 37 feet below ground surface
' A groundwater gradient was calculated for the event and found to be flowing N6°W at
0 0005 ft/ft Gradient direction for the monitoring event 2s shown in Figure 2 The
. groundwater elevation data is summarized in Table 1, Appendix A
