Equipment Company <br /> 1245 West Charter Way <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Project No 507 2 <br /> April 14, 2000 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 1 st Quarter 2000 round of groundwater monitoring and testing <br /> that took place on January 27, and March 8, 2000 The test results show that detectable <br /> concentrations of BTEX and TPH-G were present in 5 of 8 groundwater monitoring wells <br /> The fuel oxygenate compound MTBE was detected in two of the eight wells Two rounds of <br /> sampling were necessary because the lab (Entech Analytical) lost the first set of samples In <br /> addition, the top of casing elevation of the wells was surveyed on February 15 <br />' On January 27, the average depth to groundwater at the site was 14 29 bgs and the <br /> groundwater flow was S45°W at 0 005 fUft On March 8, the average depth to groundwater <br /> was 13 18 feet bgs and the groundwater flow was S431' W at 0 008 ft/ft <br /> 1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br />' 1.1 Hydrogeology of Site <br /> The geology of the site is predominately clays and sandy clays with lesser amounts of silts <br /> and sands The average groundwater elevation was 6 92 feet below MSL in January 2000 <br /> and 5 81 feet below MSL in March 2000 MSL is approximately 7 37 feet below ground <br /> surface <br />
