Equipment Company <br /> 1245 West Charter Way <br />' Stockton, California <br /> Protect No 507 2 <br /> July 8, 1998 <br /> I <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' This addendum is in response to a phone conversation between Ray Kablanow and Mr Mike <br /> Infurna of San Joaquin County on ,lune 1, 1998 His comments were regarding the location <br /> and construction of the monitoring wells and the installation of vapor extraction wells to <br />' define the extent of soil contamination around the former tanks The work can be <br /> summarized as follows <br /> O Install three water table wells with screened intervals from 10 to 30 feet bgs <br /> IO The upgradient well will be moved closer to the source <br /> o Install a deep soil boring and collect discrete soil and water samples <br /> o Based on the soil boring data install a deep monitoring well with a discrete screen <br /> • Install only on vapor extraction well <br />' • Test for oxygenated fuel compounds <br /> I2.0 CHANGES TO PREVIOUS WORK PLAN <br /> See Figure 1 Site Map for the locations referenced in this addendum <br /> 2.1 Revised Monitoring Well Locations <br /> The location for monitoring well JM-1 will be moved to the northeast to place the up gradient <br /> Iwell closer to the source <br /> 2.2 Revised Construction of Water Table Monitoring Wells <br /> The current depth to groundwater is approximately 15 feet below ground surface The <br /> . construction of the three water table monitoring wells will be modified to accommodate the <br /> using water table at the site The screened interval will extend from 15 to 35 feet bgs <br />
