Although <br /> a temporary groundwater extraction system is currently operating at this site, <br /> concentrations for 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) c `ntinue to be detected in groundwater <br /> samples collected quarterly from monitoring well MWA, MW-2, MW-5, and MW-6. <br /> Two of these wells (MW-2 and MW-6) are located within twenty feet of East Charter Way <br /> yet no investigation has been initiated to laterally delineate the 1,2-DCA plume south of <br /> these wells. Please submit a work plan to EHD by July 20, 2007, that will laterally <br /> delineate the groundwater plume to the south of your site. <br /> EHD is not being notified of scheduled quarterly groundwater monitoring events. Please <br /> notify the EHD at least forty-eight hours prior to future groundwater monitoring events.
