Telephone: (877)577-2669 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00050138 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> COMPLAINANT WAS AT FACILITY ON 7/16/19 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:30 PM AND NOTICED A VERY BAD SMELL. <br /> COMPLAINANT HEARD A CASHIER SAY THAT SOMEONE HAD DEFECATED IN THE STORE. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #41 Plumbing Maintained;Approved Back Flow Device <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Ceiling in front of rest rooms is leaking (water dripping from lights).Water is collected with buckets.This <br /> is a hazardous situation.All leaks shall be repaired, immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The potable water supply shall be protected with a backflow or back siphonage protection device,as required <br /> by applicable plumbing codes. (114192)All plumbing and plumbing fixtures shall be installed in compliance with local plumbing <br /> ordinances, shall be maintained so as to prevent any contamination,and shall be kept clean,fully operative,and in good repair. Any hose <br /> used for conveying potable water shall be of approved materials,labeled,properly stored,and used for no other purpose. Door stays wide open. Repair door immediately to help maintain <br /> acceptable temperature inside the store(currently it is 100 F outside), and to prevent vermin from entering store. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The premises of each food facility shall be kept clean and free of litter and rubbish all clean and soiled linen <br /> shall be properly stored non-food items shall be stored and displayed separate from food and food-contact surfaces the facility shall be <br /> kept vermin proof. She stated that facility was vandalized. Someone cut the electrical lines <br /> in order to steal cooper wires. Wires to both the air conditioner and the refrigerators were cut off.When this happened, <br /> condensation from coolers went stagnant and caused the offensive odor.
