Workplan for Supplemental Investigation
2005 Navy Drive, Stockton, CA
January 2, 2013
or 3.17 feet below sea level. A reading of -3.17 represents a lower elevation than -
2.93. Similarly, for December 2011, the groundwater level at MW-1 was -4.57 (4.57
feet below sea level) and the groundwater level at MW-3 was -5.61 (5.61 feet below
sea level). Therefore, the measured groundwater gradient is indeed to the
approximate south which is consistent with neighboring sites, not to the northwest as
reported in the existing KR Environmental report.
As the groundwater flow is to the south-southeast, taking samples upgradient of the
recently destroyed monitoring wells would determine if the DCE is coming from an
upgradient offsite source.
Risk-Based Decisions, Inc.
