San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has not received a report of the well installation <br /> to date. <br /> In a telephone conversation on May 17,2004,your consultant Ramcon Engineering& <br /> Environmental contracting,Inc. (Ramcon) confirmed that the report had not been written,nor has <br /> any quarterly sampling been conducted since installation of the monitoring wells due to financial <br /> problems. However,Ramcon stated a quarterly sampling event will be conducted and a report will <br /> be written soon. <br /> As a responsible party,you are required to conduct sampling and reporting of the monitoring wells <br /> minimally on a quarterly basis according to Title 23, Chapter 16, Section 2652(d)of the California Code of <br /> Regulations. EHD directs you to sample the wells by May 31,2004,and submit the results along with <br /> the well installation report by June 30,2004. Sampling and reporting should be conducted quarterly <br /> thereafter. <br /> In a letter dated July 2,2003,EHD directed you to submit a 2000-foot well receptor survey. EHD <br /> has not received this survey to date. Please be aware that a 2000-foot well receptor survey is a <br /> required item for consideration of final closure according to Appendix B of the Tri-Regional <br /> guideline. Submit a 2000-foot well receptor survey-with properly labeled maps,addresses,and well <br /> construction details to EHD by July 15,2004.
