Violations that are classified as'MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health
and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of
the food facility.
OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS
FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS
No Temperature Data Collected
NOTES
Upon arrival,Jeff C.and I reviewed the area that will be used by the culinary class.Area contains an open area where the food
preparation will occur on stainless steel tables,a ware-washing area, dry storage area and two restrooms with their own
portable water heaters. The facility is considered to be a historical landmark, thus restricting what modifications can be made.
Clarification was needed before we can evaluate if a permit with our department would be required due to the food only being
made by the students and consumed by the same students. Program coordinator,Jeff C.,indicated if culinary students will be
the only one's consuming the food they prepare, then a health permit is not needed for this kitchen/prep area and we won't be
involved in any modifications. SJCOE should still reach out to either the City of Stockton Building Department or the
Department of State Architect since work will be done there and permits for work will be needed(electrical, plumbing).Official
inspection report emailed.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
41
Received by: Name and Title: Tony Damele, Coordinator
EH Specialist: VICTOR ACEVEDO Phone: (209)468-0337
SR0081374 SC061 11/06/2019
EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Service Request Inspection Report
