THESE INCIDENTS ARE NOT BEING CLEANED UP PROPERLY. COMPLAINANT IS WORRIED ABOUT <br />OTHER STUDENTS AND FACULTY BEING EXPOSED TO HEALTH RISKS." <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Upon inspection, the cafeteria manager is aware of the complaint (it was reported by custodial staff). <br />The staff member put on gloves and cleaned the area using the product "Alpet-D2." Per label, this product is 58% isopropyl <br />alcohol, less than 1 % ammonium chloride and 41% other ingredients. The product is a non-rinse sanitizer and disinfectant <br />effective on hard non-porous food and non food contact surfaces. Product is 99.99% effective on 9 tested pathogens <br />including E. Coli 0157:H7 (pathogen of concern with fecal matter). <br />Corrective action: Clean up any solid material, then spray the affected area with the product and allow the product to remain <br />on the surface for a minimum of 60 seconds to ensure effective sanitizing. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
