The initial date of waste accumulation shall be clearly marked and <br /> visible for inspection on each container used for satellite accumulation of hazardous waste. Since it cannot be <br /> determined how long this waste has been stored on site, immediately ensure that all satellite containers are properly <br /> labeled with the accumulation start date. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> -Two black plastic approximately 30 gallon satellite containers of used oil were observed with faded, unreadable <br /> labels <br /> -One blue 55-gallon steel drum of used oil filters was observed in the Hazardous Waste Storage Area labeled as <br /> "Used Absorbent"and missing hazardous properties on the label <br /> -One black 55-gallon steel drum of used metal filters was observed in the Hazardous Waste Storage Area missing <br /> the hazardous properties on the label.This was corrected on site. <br /> -One black 55-gallon steel drum of used paper filters was observed in the Hazardous Waste Storage Area missing <br /> the physical properties on the label. <br /> -A blue plastic 55-gallon drum containing used antifreeze was observed in the Hazardous Waste Storage Area <br /> missing the hazardous properties on the label. <br /> -A blue plastic 55-gallon drum containing used antifreeze was observed in the Hazardous Waste Storage Area <br /> missing the label. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by April 15th, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
