The owner
stated that the ventilation hood in the facility did get cleaned and worked on but that any smoke should of been cleared and
that the facility had only contained a large amount of smoke for one day due to the hood being cleaned the previous day.
Owner gave me permission to enter into the kitchen and I tested the ventilation hood. The hood turned on fine, provided
suction through the filters and powerful enough to suck up a paper towel I placed near the vents themselves. The kitchen also
contains a screened back door and screened windows for extra ventilation. The owner stated that the company that came to
service the hood returned to the facility during this"smokey" incident and did the best they could to prevent the smoke from
going anywhere else but the hood.
Observed no other violations at this time.
Official inspection report emailed.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
/hq ct(b4 nod 4
Received by: Name and Title: amalia castaneda, cashier
EH Specialist: VICTOR ACEVEDO Phone: (209)468-0337
FA0019803 C00050707 SCO04 10/16/2019
EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
